“Quality education is at the heart of Maranatha Academy. We demand nothing but excellence.
“So, we are always identifying various ways to motivate students to work extra hard and excel at their studies,” said Kaonga.
This is also coming at a time the school has pledged to reward six top performers in the 2024 MSCE examination with K1 million each.
Expanding the reach
Meanwhile, Maranatha Academy has expanded its reach with a new boys campus in Mponela, in Dowa district.
The academy has unveiled a new chapter in their storied history by launching a boys campus in order to accomodate more students.
After two decades of operation in Blantyre, the school decided to respond to public demand by establishing a central region presence.
Kaonga, explained the decision to expand, citing accessibility and community demand as pivotal factors.
“Dowa’s central location makes it ideal for families across the region to access quality education closer to home,” Dr. Kaonga emphasized.
Formerly the Mbolembole hotel, the newly chosen campus location promises both convenience and aesthetic appeal.
Maranatha Academy now boasts a total of four campuses, with two each in Blantyre and the central region.
