BetPawa Malawi on Tuesday unveiled two big winners, Billy Shaibu and Chikondi Banda from popular crash games Aviator and JetX on its platform.
Chikondi Banda from Lilongwe won a total of K140 million for flying high on Aviator and JetX while Shaibu, a fuel attendant from Mangochi, has won K127 million from flying Aviator.
Shaibu in an interview expresses happiness for being one of the big winners.
He said he was taught how to play Aviator by a friend, and has already invested part of the money.
“I will continue working, and ensure I keep uplifting my family any way that I can. I bet regularly and I will also continue doing that with the extra money on me as part of entertainment not an income generating activity.
“I have a job and I will maintain it while ensuring that my family’s needs are met even after attaining my millionaire status,” he said.
On his part, Banda said he will consult before making any investments or spending his money.
He however disclosed that he intends to share part of the money with his relatives as a way of empowering them.
“I really enjoy playing them [JetX and Aviator] because they are easy so beginners can learn how to play very quickly. It was so unbelievable for me, I just saw the multiplier keep going up, faster and faster, my eyes were wide open and when I cashed out my heart was racing!” he said.
