Leading telecommunications and mobile service providers, Telecom Network Malawi (TNM ) has partnered with Malawi’s multi-award winning afro-hiphop artist, rapper and songwriter, Phyzix, for the upcoming Mzuzu Mountain Goat Concert by sponsoring the gig with K5 million.
Phyzix, whose government name is Noel Chikoleka, who is also a banker, life coach, marketer and entrepreneur is scheduled to hold for a Mountain Goat music Concert at Springs Park in Mzuzu, scheduled for next month, July, 13, 2025.
This is not the first time Phyzix who also goes with a stage moniker, Captain Bae, and TNM are collaborating on a music concert – the company previously sponsored Phyzix’s ‘Mountain Goat Concert’ in Malawi’s commercial city of Blantyre last year, which was successful.
And, the Mzuzu Mountain Goat show looks set and promises fireworks and thrilling vibes and the performing artists including the artist of the moment Jetu who is billed to mesmerise the audience with her sizzling performance.
Madalitso Jonazi, TNM’s Head of Brand and Marketing, stated that the partnership between TNM and the Wife material hitmaker demonstrates the company’s resolve to empower and celebrate local talent through music and dance.

“This ongoing partnership reflects our steadfast commitment to employing technology to unlock new avenues, transform experiences, and bring people together through the transformative power of music,” Jonazi said.
Phyzix’s artistic and brand manager, Hazwel Zimz Zimba, explained that TNM has a history of supporting the entertainment and music industry in Malawi, and that Phyzix’s team proactively reached out to the company about sponsoring the Mzuzu concert.
“Companies love an artist that delivers and an artist that is a corporate pillar, and Phyzix has all those qualities,” said Zimba.
Receiving TNM’s sponsorship, the Mwana opusa rapper was all smiles and expressed gratitude saying the money that the pioneer mobile network operator has given him would assist in delivering a good concert to the people in Mzuzu.
Said a visibly excited Phyzix who is also known as Gamba wa Suit: “After sponsoring my Mountain Goat album launch last year, I am thrilled that TNM has returned to sponsor my upcoming concert in Mzuzu, as we cement the brands’ mutual connection.”

Phyzix the Don Gamba commended TNM for introducing Caller Tunes and Agulu services, saying they are contributing to the growth of the music industry in the country.
He said: “Through services like Caller Tunes and Agulu bundles TNM is playing a pivotal role in taking Malawian music to great height. While musicians are getting loyalty, the youth can access our music using the affordable Agulu bundles.”
The Concert comes six months after the Makofi star, Phyzix, launched Mountain Goat, his 15th album last year in December at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre.
TNM was receptive given the positive track record of their previous partnership with the Banker Otchuka lyrist, composer and performer.
The sponsorship announcement has already generated a lot of buzz and ticket demand from Phyzix’s fanbase.
He further explained ” Through the collaboration, we are fostering cultural enrichment and connectivity through music and technology. As such, music enthusiasts will be able to purchase their tickets on the Mpamba e-ticketing platform conveniently.”
Beyond the immediate concert, Phyzix’s team is hopeful that this partnership could open up new avenues for the artist’s career development, such as potential brand ambassador deals that could further increase his audience and reach.
